Privacy and Data Protection Policy
The Site ensures that the User collects and processes personal information while respecting privacy in accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms.
The company KIIP ensures that the processing of personal data is lawful, justified by a valid legal basis and that the data is kept for a reasonable period necessary for the operations for which it was collected, in compliance with current legislation, and considering the limitation periods.
The company KIIP, responsible for data processing, is required to collect your personal information (surname, first name, position, name of the organization, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and information on the file) for any request information, quotes, appointments, etc., as well as for the day-to-day management and monitoring of your files, on the basis of consent and legitimate interest and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations linked to advisory functions in industrial property, and in particular articles R.421-1 and following of the intellectual property code.
They are kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which they are collected and processed.
The data collected will be transmitted to the people authorized within the company KIIP to process requests. These personal data may be communicated to trusted third parties for the execution of subcontracted tasks, according to our instructions, in accordance with these Confidentiality Rules and in compliance with any other appropriate security and confidentiality measures, without the authorization of the User, prospect or customer, is necessary.
Personal data processed by or on behalf of the company KIIP may be transferred and processed by third parties located outside the Union only when this is strictly necessary for the proper execution of the mission entrusted. Under the Data Protection Act, dated January 6, 1978 and the General Data Protection Regulation n°2016/679 of April 27, 2016, the User has a right of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, opposition, portability, not being subject to automated decision-making of their personal data.
